The tribal people of the Kutch district in Gujarat are known for their traditional handmade crafts. This Women of the Kutch is carrying out the traditional tribal craft of Embroidery and Applique. They use very colourful fabrics, detailed patterns and mirrors. The mirrors are unique to the garments made by the tribes of this area.

During my travels through Mexico in December and January I had my first experience of living within a sustainable community. It was a great example for me to see that when people live and work together to get the work done there is more time for play, time to enjoy and time to be creative.
